يقوم فريق التحرير سنة 2020، بإنشاء ميزة جديدة لصفحات النقاش. هذه الميزات جزء من مشروع صفحات النقاش . هدفنا هو مساعدة المستخدمين، مهما كانت خبراتهم، من التواصل بطريقة أكثر فاعليّة في الويكي.

هذا المشروع هو نتاج استشارة صفحات النقاش 2019 ، استشارة على مدى خمسة أشهر تمّ فيها التفاعل مع متطوّعين من 20 ويكي على الأقلّ وموظّفين من المؤسّسة وتحديد وجهة إنتاج لإنشاء أدوات أحسن للتواصل داخل الويكي.

أداة الردّ - أداة للردّ على التعليقات ضمن السطر. تمكّن أداة الردّ، آليّا، من التوقيع ومن وضع مسافة بادئة للتعاليق وتمكّن من الإشارة بسرعة إلى مستخدمين آخرين.
أداة المحادثة الجديدة - أداة تمكّن من البدء في أقسام جديدة ضمن السطر. ستمكّن الأداة الجديدة من إضافة توقيعك، ومثل أداة الردّ، ستمكّن من وسيلة سريعة للإشارة إلى أشخاص آخرين.
Topic subscriptions - receive a notification whenever someone posts a new comment in a discussion you are interested in.
Mobile talk page improvements
Permalinks - link to and locate talk pages comments and topics everywhere they are referenced.
Usability improvements - a set of visual adjustments to help people assess talk page activity and recognize talk pages as places to communicate with other volunteers.

أداة الرد

تمكّن أداة الردّ آليّا من التوقيع ومن وضع مسافة بادئة للتعاليق في نصّ الويكي لصفحات النقاش وتمكّن من الإشارة بسرعة لمستخدمين آخرين.

تشتغل الأداة بصفة مشابهة لبعض السكريبتات الأخرى المتوفّرة.^[1][2] أوّلا، تقوم بتحديد تواقيع المستخدمين والطابع الزمني على الصّفحة، ثمّ تقوم بإضافة رابط [ ردّ ] حذوها. عندما تقومون بالضّغط على رابط [ ردّ ]، ستشاهدون صندوقا لكتابة ردّكم فيه.

الميزات

يمكنكم التغيير بين وضعي التحرير visual ونص الويكي source.

في وضع نص الويكي source، تُظهر معاينة حيّة ما سيبدو عليه تعليقكم حين سينشر على صفحة النقاش.
في وضع visual، يمكنكم استخدام اختصارات لوحة المفاتيح لإنشاء وصلات، وللإشارة إلى أشخاص آخرين، ولإضافة تنسيق الحروف.

Deployment

Features

يمكنكم التحوّل بين وضْعَي التحرير مرئي ونص الويكي مصدري.
في وضع نص الويكي مصدري، تُظهر معاينة حيّة ما سيبدو عليه تعليقكم حين سينشر على صفحة النقاش.
في وضع مرئي، يمكنكم استخدام اختصارات لوحة المفاتيح لإنشاء وصلات، وللإشارة إلى أشخاص آخرين، ولإضافة تنسيق الحروف.
On talk pages that have not been created yet, a message introducing users to discussions is shown instead of the wikitext editor.

الاشتراك في موضوع

تمكّنكم مِيزة الاشتراك في موضوع من الاشتراك في == قسم من المستوى الثاني == على صفحة نقاش. بعد الاشتراك، ستتلقّون إشعارات عند نشر أيّ تعليق في ذلك القسم. You may manage your topic subscriptions at the special page: Special:TopicSubscriptions.

Usability improvements

The following changes have been deployed as the final product:

We changed how the talk page's main title, adding a space after “Talk:”, and all section titles look, now using Sans-serif.
The buttons for replying, subscribing, and starting a new topic appear in a bolder typeface, instead of looking like a regular link.
For Vector 2022 users, the table of contents shows the number of comments within a topic.
We added meta-information at the top of the talk page (link and date for the latest comment).

Comment actions

For people who have Usability improvements enabled, Discussion tools offers an overflow menu next to talk page comments.

This menu offers a place where you can take action on individual comments.

As of 21 أغسطس 2025, the following features are available within the overflow menu:

Report a comment: The Incident Reporting System makes it easy for users to find the right path to get help when experiencing a harmful incident.; Current deployments

Thank the author of a comment: The "Thank" option makes it easier to thank a given comment, from the reading experience.; The visible result of a thank is identical to the classic method. However, there is no exposure either way of exactly what was thanked. The comment you thank using the in-line option is not permanent like thanking a revision. Therefore, it is not possible to edit a comment to make it appear that the person thanking you approves of something they did not intend to approve.; Deployment: available at all wikis where Usability Improvements are available as a default feature or for users who turned on the "Discussion Tools" Beta feature.
