I read at Growth/Communities/How to configure the mentors' list/98/en and dobt if we have a typo here at the underlined part.

It says: After you signed-up, the system will start assigning you new mentors. Regularly visit $1 to keep an eye to the newcomers assigned to you.

The first part sounds that:

• the system nominates me, a mentor, new Mentors;
• The second part suggest that I time to time check newcomers, or mentees, assigned to me.

In ruWP for the namespace "user" there are aliases "участник" (male) and "участница" (female) - will there be a gender-dependent alias "* [[участница:name]] | text" recognized when the extension reads the list? @Tgr (WMF) @Trizek (WMF)

How should the string "User:Username" be translated?

Should the "User" namespace be translated or left in English?

I guess that both parts can be translated, but I wanted to make sure.

Also, as a feature idea, can this perhaps be automated?

Both parts can be translated.

We could add a variable to have "user" using an already translated string. However, it would add a variable for an easy to translate word. Also, is there a way to automatically translate "username"?

For automatic translation, I meant translating in the software, not in the help page. But it's not super-important in any case.

Can this perhaps be rephrased as "On the Homepage, there is a space that allows you to introduce yourself to those newcomers"?
