Wikimedia Hackathon 2021 is this week!
The event will take place from Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd May, across various time zones.
As mentioned earlier, the hackathon will have one main track and two open rooms. We’re excited to announce the main track sessions for the event: Hackathon Schedule! Please note that this schedule is still under construction and subject to change.
You can still propose sessions for the open room (deadline: 19th May, 2021) by creating a Phabricator task using this template. For more information, please go through How to propose a session on the Hackathon Wiki-page.
Notes for hackathon participants:
- Make sure to add yourself to the list of participants
- Learn how you can participate and contribute
- Join the hackathon discussion channels
- If this is your first hackathon, check out some newcomer resources and join the newcomers telegram group for any queries
We are looking for people to help us run an awesome and smooth event! If you're interested, feel free to have a look at the available roles. We’re especially looking for people who could facilitate sessions and help newcomers.
Please feel free to share this in your communities, see you at the hack!
