How does VE deals with two people editing the same page? Does it forbids the second to edit (like translator do)? And how does it solve editing collisions with two users using visual editor and one user using visual editorn and another - source editor?

Hello

Users who edit a page at the same time will have a conflict if they edit the same sentence or section, no matter the tool they use.

Multiple people editing the same page at the same time works the same way using the visual editor as the wikitext editor – it's resolved by MediaWiki on save, and in rare cases is unable to save all edits alongside and so prompt the user to resolve the edit conflict. It does not forbid others from editing, as that is pretty strongly anti-wiki and would not be OK for our users.

An editor asked me to test this a while ago, and I can confirm that it doesn't matter which tool(s) are being used. The result is exactly the same.

If you are the second editor to save (the second editor is always the person who has to deal with the edit conflict), then you will always see the wikitext, no matter which editing system you were using. Edit conflicts are always resolved in wikitext.
