Donor Thank you page[edit]
I wonder where the translation of this page is hosted. Its Ukrainian version uses pronouns inconsistently, so I tried looking on translatewiki, but I don't see the translation there. Ата (talk) 13:03, 31 March 2023 (UTC)
- @Ата, sorry to hear this; fortunately, you found it! The Donor Thank you page is hosted on Fundraising, and (IIRC) the translation is done by a third-party service. - The line "Thank you! Your generosity means so much to us" uses casual you-singular, while the rest of the text uses polite you-plural.
- (To go from casual to polite I would change "Дякуємо тобі! Твоя щедрість так багато означає для Вікіпедії" to "Дякуємо вам! Ваша щедрість так багато означає для Вікіпедії.") Thanks, Trizek! Ата (talk) 13:28, 3 April 2023 (UTC)
