Requested user-rights: Importer.

Currently I'm engaged in porting popular on-wiki gadgets into MediaWiki extensions. Many of these scripts have had existing docs on wiki pages, almost usable here. That's why I'm requesting importer access: I'm going to import those pages, typically from Commons and Wikipedia to here, then we won't need to create these pages anew, and preserving history. -- U.T. 15:32, 26 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe. I've learned that importer only has one more functionality than transwiki importer: importing from local XML files, which is unlikely for me to use. Then transwiki importer is sufficient for me. I didn't know here we have both flags before and thought only importer flag is available here though. -- U.T. 06:43, 1 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
