I'm a German native speaker and consider it kind of tedious that I have to wait for someone else to approve my changes before I can translate them into German as well. I have experience in using the translation tool for doing and reviewing translations here and on translatewiki.net, and I think I have some understanding how to use the extension tags to make my edits localizable.
