Extension:MobileFrontend/Deployments/2012-06-24[edit]

Hi. Extension:MobileFrontend/Deployments/2012-06-24 seems mis-named. Did you really intend 2012-06-24? --MZMcBride (talk) 04:22, 25 July 2012 (UTC)

Good catch - thanks MZ! I just moved the page to 2012-07-24. Arthur Richards (talk) 16:58, 25 July 2012 (UTC)

Glad to know you liked the Signpost android App. Hoping to meet you at the bangalore DevCamp. Shankar Narayan (talk)

Old mails on Tools[edit]

On Tools, the tool accounts bingle and bugello have 2037 and 4068 old mails in storage from when mail wasn't immediately forwarded to the maintainers' addresses. All mail is from March 9th to 14th, and most appear to be of the type "Your job 8774 ('bingle-analytics') has been submitted".

  1. I could respool these messages to any mail address or group of such (I don't think the default "all maintainers" would be useful in this case given that bugello has three and bingle seven who may not all be interested in 2000 or 4000 mails :-)).
  2. You (or another maintainer) could log into Tools, become bingle/become bugello and use mail or another command-line mail client to sort through them.
  3. I could move the mailboxes to the tools' home directories, so you (or another maintainer) could view them, edit them, delete them.

Do you have any preference? --Tim Landscheidt 03:16, 24 March 2014 (UTC)

Hi Tim, thanks for reaching out. They are almost all certainly from cron and at this point would not be useful. IMO it should be safe to just delete them all. If you're uncomfortable with that, feel free to move the mailboxes to the tools' home dir and I can take care of it. Thanks again :D Arthur Richards (talk) 23:28, 26 March 2014 (UTC)
I wouldn't have been entirely uncomfortable with that, but it's always nice to leave deleting for someone else :-). I've moved the mailboxes to mbox in the tools' respective home directories. --Tim Landscheidt 02:35, 27 March 2014 (UTC)
Cool - I entirely understand. Thanks a ton, Tim :D Arthur Richards (talk) 17:49, 27 March 2014 (UTC)
