Topic on 2017 wikitext editor/Feedback

I am a heavy user of de:User:TMg/weblinkChecker (my own fork de:User:Boshomi/externalURLform.js) for external link maintenance (i.e InternetArchiveBot cleanup) or scripts like Autoformater, or text replacement Tools like de:User:Boshomi/ARreplace

I is possible to integrate edit helping tools to this new wikitext editor? or is there some help for adapting existing tools? Boshomi (talk) 22:04, 29 August 2019 (UTC)

See VisualEditor/Gadgets for a guide on how to write gadgets for VE or the 2017 wikitext editor. You can also use the text selection API but this will create a transaction to replace the whole document.
