Hello.

I have noticed this edit.

It seems that it really fixed the problem on the English version. However, there is still a problem on the Hebrew version of the page.

The third screenshot, showing the VE toolbar, still have an annoying horizontal scrollbar.

I didn't manage to fix it. Could you please help me remove the horizontal scrollbar from the Hebrew version as well?

Thanks in advance. Guycn2 (talk) 16:11, 1 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hello Ed! It was lovely to meet you at Wikimania. Here's our group selfie.

P.S. How do I sign up for VisualEditor-enabled, threaded talk pages? Deryck C.Meta 16:59, 21 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

You too, apparently you can do it at Special:EnableFlow. ESanders (WMF) (talk) 21:00, 21 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
This is fun to try out. Thank you! Deryck C.Meta 17:28, 22 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

VisualEditor

[edit]

Hi. This page is still marked as not to be translated as it is still in draft. Is that still the case? — billinghurst sDrewth 07:08, 31 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Yup. It'll be out of draft 30 seconds after the Translate extension is compatible with VisualEditor. Jdforrester (WMF) (talk) 16:33, 31 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hello ESanders_(WMF) !!!

I made a bug report Talk:Content translation/2020/03#h-manually_entered_categories_do_not_affect_the_results-2020-03-14T06:03:00.000Z.

And user:Pginer-WMF taught me that the problem was already reported and already in task phab:T242613.

Reading tasks related to T242613, I feel that T242613 is about the same bug as phab:T188238 which you previously concerned.

So, please join phab:T242613.

Thank you !!! HaussmannSaintLazare (talk) 23:33, 2 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hello! :)

Some months ago I've been shown your script about getting individual comment links and I enjoy it. Pretty useful.

However there is one "problem" (or is there?): When I compare [reply] with [link] they look different. I can't for the life of me be sure of what's really changing - maybe it's just the color, maybe it's the font or maybe nothing is changing but the words' size is creating an optical illusion for me - but it is really annoying. I was wondering if you could help on that. Is the font any different between those 2 links? Anything else? Klein Muçi (talk) 01:06, 12 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

There shouldn't be, can you post a screenshot? ESanders (WMF) (talk) 07:22, 13 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Maybe it's just the change of color... Klein Muçi (talk) 10:53, 13 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
I think so. Those look like the same font and size to me. ESanders (WMF) (talk) 15:34, 13 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
To me it looks like the word "reply" gets enveloped correctly by the brackets while the word "link" has a higher height relatively compared with the corresponding brackets. But maybe it is an optical illusion. Shouldn't the color change though anyway? Klein Muçi (talk) 15:43, 13 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
The [reply] button will become a Reply button soon. Ed, have you thought about changing the [link] button's styling? Whatamidoing (WMF) (talk) 20:05, 13 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
We are currently leaning towards making the timestamp the permalink, rather than having a separate [link] button. ESanders (WMF) (talk) 07:30, 14 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
Needless to say, I'd appreciate that happening. Klein Muçi (talk) 21:18, 13 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Custom buttons for DiscussionTools

[edit]

Hello! I was wondering if it is possible to add extra custom buttons to the Reply tool which is part of DiscussionTools? Something like https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:WikiEditor/Toolbar_customization

Thanks and have a nice day Polygnotus (talk) 17:57, 16 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Not currently. This issue is tracked at T265981. ESanders (WMF) (talk) 15:00, 17 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thank you! It seems unlikely that it will be implemented soon since the issue you linked is from 2020. Polygnotus (talk) 15:52, 17 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
