How do I create a pull request and new code branch for a phabricator project? I would like to create a PR for a code change to the AWB project. Maybe this is the wrong question to ask, but it seems like something maybe worth mentioning on this help page

It depends on the project. Most code is based on gerrit, but some isn't. For AutoWikiBrowser, according to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:AutoWikiBrowser the code is managed out of https://sourceforge.net/p/autowikibrowser/code/HEAD/tree/ .
