First of all, congratulations for this new functionality for translating Wikipedia articles!!
I would like to know how we can contribute, how we can integrate Matxin (an open-source machine translator that translates from Spanish to Basque) in this Wikipedia content translation system. Would it be very hard work?

Content Translation has been designed to be extensible with new tools, and we are happy to see the language support to increase. So thanks for letting us know about Matxin.
As it is shown in this example, adding new translation services does not require complex code. There are still other aspects to be solved (e.g., where and how the service should be running) that would require some coordination and information exchange between the developers of Content Translation and the Matxin team.
To facilitate the coordination, I have created this ticket in Phabricator, which is the system we use for project management.
