Why doesn't it work for english-russian translation?

English-Turkish translation is also useless.
There is no Machine Translation for English-Turkish language pair yet. We don't have any estimate for that. Meanwhile, you can use other features like link, images, wikidata and categories adaptation and can work on articles. Let us know if you have any difficulties with it.
Do you have an estimation when english-russian translation will be operative? Thanks
We're using https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T89844 task to track progess. As of now, no estimated date (but soon!).
