The overview page “My Tasks” (Special:My_tasks) allows users to view a dashboard of their upcoming tasks in the wiki.

Currently, workflow tasks , simple tasks , and pending read confirmations are displayed.
When there are tasks, a a red notification icon is shown in the user menu.
Each task card leads to the wiki page that is linked to the task.

Installation

Add the repo url (https://github.com/wikimedia/mediawiki-extensions-UnifiedTaskOverview.git) as a "vcs repository" and the package name (mediawiki/unifiedtaskoverview) and version to the require section of your composer.local.json. Example:

Run the following command in your MediaWiki installation path

composer update --no-dev

Add the following code at the bottom of your LocalSettings.php file:

wfLoadExtension( 'UnifiedTaskOverview' );

Done Navigate to Special:Version on your wiki to verify that the extension is successfully installed.
