[edit] tz database, PAGENAMEE

Muito obrigao! This helps a lot! Implemented at http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Template:Infobox_tz&diff=349727668&oldid=349727336 -- TimeCurrency 02:31, 14 March 2010 (UTC)

[edit] "int:" vs "MediaWiki:" in PD Help

Hi! You change prefixes for system messages from "int:" to "MediaWiki:" in PD Help pages. In my ophinion, this is not consistent with the goals of this multilanguage help pages, for inclusion in the MW distributive. In the target project the interface language chosen by the user, may differ from the help pages language. In any case, the user should see the names of buttons and menu commands on the same language, which he is currently enabled. --Kaganer 21:14, 1 May 2010 (UTC)

[edit] re: Help talk:Images#Captions not displaying

Thank you for your prompt reply. I've posted a followup question on the Help talk page. Rossami 06:16, 25 May 2010 (UTC)

Good feedback. I'm hesitant to directly edit the page, though, because I don't know the protocols in this space. None of the other wikiprojects I work in have an explicit "Draft" tab. Can I impose on you for a few pointers on the ettiquette expected here? Thank you. Rossami 21:58, 26 May 2010 (UTC)
No special protocols. This wiki uses the Flagged Revisions extension: it can prevent revisions to a page from being presented to general users until an authorised user has reviewed them. Such revisions appear in the draft tab, until approved. But that's regarding the review process. From the point of view of editing a page, just go ahead and edit it as you would elsewhere. Hamilton Abreu 23:58, 26 May 2010 (UTC)
Thanks. Never seen that extension before. Rossami 04:18, 27 May 2010 (UTC)

00:10, 28 May 2010 (UTC)

[edit] Unreviewed /pt pages & Editor rights

Hi! I now grant "Editor" rights to You. Maybe you do check unreviewed pages with "/pt" suffix and mark those (who you think deserve this - synchronous with the English version) as "checked" ("verificada" in portugese interface language)? --Kaganer 09:13, 28 June 2010 (UTC)

Hi Kaganer. I will take care of reviewing the /pt unreviewed pages from now onwards. Thanks for this. Hamilton Abreu 10:53, 28 June 2010 (UTC)
ok ;) --Kaganer 11:20, 28 June 2010 (UTC)

[edit] my mistake

my mistake, thanks for catching that. I haven't even gone back and looked at the response on the parser talk page. Adamtheclown 04:51, 7 July 2010 (UTC)

[edit] underscore/underline

You recently reverted somebody's edit to the Help:Formatting article. You removed the addition of the word "underline". Your comment is that the caracter (sic) is not known as underline. I believe you are wrong.

Please see the section "15.2.1 Font style elements: the TT, I, B, BIG, SMALL, STRIKE, S, and U elements" of the HTML specifications from w3c.org. It states that the <u>...</u> elements are for underlining.

I think it's reasonable to include the word "underline" along with "underscore", because many people know it as that depending on which region of the world they're from and what technical background they have. I thought it would be more polite for me to tell you this and give you a chance to undo your own edit rather than just undoing it myself. --Lance E Sloan 14:34, 3 December 2010 (UTC)
