Wikimedia Release Engineering Team/Onboarding/Chad
π, Chad! We're glad you're back π
This is your reentrypoint into the wonderful and weird world of Wikimedia.
Remember that labyrinth of mailing lists, tasks, wikis, servers, and tools? They're all still here (and we've added a few new ones).
The expectations for this page:
- Skim everything here within your first few days
- Complete the πΌ Foundation onboarding and π§βπ» Technical onboarding checklists within your first week (or so)
- Complete the π RelEng checklist within your first few weeks (or so)
- Skim the readings and bookmarks within your first month (or so)
- After you've done the π§βπ» Technical onboarding you can jump into completing some tasks in π₯ Next
The hope is that these checklists make navigating our shared world a little easier.
