Based on your experience with Topic:U0adu7uol4ayic64, I'd appreciate if you took a few moments to either state what changes if any need to happen in the documentation, or fix it directly. TYVM! Elitre (WMF) (talk) 10:22, 24 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

@Elitre (WMF) and Mvolz (WMF): Thanks for the message. I think that there are a few things on the Citoid/Enabling_Citoid_on_your_wiki page, the importance of the template:cite_X/doc subpages was unclear. For me, pharases like "Create a 'citoid' maps value" were jargon, whereas "Copy over everything between <templatedata>...</tamplatedata> was achievable. Similarly, for a novice, prominent notes about "Arrays [] or 2D Arrays [[]]" were intimidating. Perhaps these sorts of things are all necessary for wikis which has less already set up than wikiversity? The suggested http://en.wikipedia.beta.wmflabs.org/wiki/Template:Cite_news/doc links are also apparently not the most up to date compared to en.wiki versions. Also, it's unclear what the outcomes of step 2a and 2b are, so it could be useful to have some variant of "by now, this should happen when you click the cite button" . If the level of technicality is necessary, perhaps there could be a parallel simplified down version, or video walkthrough? T.Shafee(Evo﹠Evo)talk 11:23, 24 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
