Genealogy wikibase[edit]

Re, I'm totally keen! :) What do you have in mind? Sam Wilson 01:19, 3 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

@Samwilson: I'd love to see if we can work on a Gedcom to QuickStatement converter, building on this, to facilitate bulk data importing in a Wikibase instance (@Jdlrobson: you showed me a promising Gedcom to JSON converter a while ago). Also maybe design a basic data model for a genealogy wikibase, which seems like a prerequisite.--Dario (WMF) (talk) 13:44, 5 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

We need some help.[edit]

Hi. I'm an sysop in pt.wikinews, a small project that has no interface editor. We would like to set up so padlocks would indicate the level of protection of the pages, as it happens in pt.wikipedia, whose page MediaWiki responsible for this is the MediaWiki: Gadget-Topicon.js. We would like to know if we create a page of this in pt.wikinews with the same code, these padlocks will also work on pt.wikinews? Sorry for not writing the English language well. --Editor D.S (talk) 20:41, 13 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

@Editor D.S: Yes, but:
Hope that helps --Roan Kattouw (WMF) (talk) 00:38, 15 January 2019 (UTC)Reply
(pinging @Editor D.S: again just to be sure, because I think something went wrong with my signature the first time) --Roan Kattouw (WMF) (talk) 00:38, 15 January 2019 (UTC)Reply
