A wave
[edit]Thanks for your work and public updates on the book-to-pdf renderer :) Are you also working on tools for selection/curation/prioritization from a list of articles? (compare the IIAB tools for choosing articles, and how many images to include for each). Warmly, Sj (talk) 18:05, 11 June 2019 (UTC)
- Thank you for your feedback, SJ. So far, I don't have concrete plans to work on curation tools. The first thing that comes to my mind in this regard would be a more modern UI for the collection extension. But what did you have in mind? (I must admit that I am not familiar with the tools available in IIAB. Do you have a more specific link? Ckepper (talk) 04:58, 12 June 2019 (UTC)
New tool possible ?
[edit]Hi, I made a working prototype of a project I had, to make a new version of pedia press that would be open source thanks to web2print technology. Is it something you would be interested in pushing ? I'm a graphic design student so I don't go that deep in coding, hence the 'prototype', but I'd like to see a function to print books become available again on wikipedia, to make it more user friendly, customizable, and modifiable by the user. It's still a WIP project but you can successfully get data from wikipedia using the API (which can be quite messy to work with sometimes) and turn it into a book.

- I happen to see this while patrolling recent changes - the request was originally made by an IP before they created the account. I have redacted the IP here and requested that the data be suppressed by stewards. --DannyS712 (talk) 10:21, 20 June 2024 (UTC)
