Hello, @Novem Linguae! I'm the product manager for the Campaigns team that developed the tool. Great question, and apologies for any confusion! In this context, campaigns means events that summon people to contribute to the wikis. However, we are also broadly building tools that can be used for many event types, such as edit-a-thons, meetups, etc. For a more detailed explanation of the tool and how to use it, we recommend you check out our User Guide on Meta-Wiki.
