Topic on Extension talk:VisualEditor

I have been looking high and low for some instruction on how to remove this code that is getting added into the wikitext code.

This is what my wikitext looks like when I upload a graphic using visualeditor:

[[index.php?title=Media:nameoffile.xlsx|Budget Impact Model]]

I wrote a re-write rule to shorten the URL and now the index.php?title= is not added.
