Topic on Extension talk:JSBreadCrumbs

The issue is a showstopper, because links are not usable.

My wiki uses URLs like this:

HTTPS://somewiki.com/index.php/PageName.

JSBreadCrumbs generates URLs like this:

HTTPS://index.php/PageName

Extension decides that index.php is the domain and I get:

This site can’t be reached

Check if there is a typo in index.php.

DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN

Sometimes there are pages that are generated correctly. I cannot find when the bug shows up. In 80% or 90% links are wrong.

Any ideas?

What version of MediaWiki and what version of JSBreadCrumbs are you using?

The breadcrumb URLs are generated by the code at https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/plugins/gitiles/mediawiki/extensions/JSBreadCrumbs/+/refs/heads/master/resources/JSBreadCrumbs.js#37. If you enable debugging (add "?debug=true" to the URL) and use the browser's debugger, you should be able to stop at that line and see what is being constructed.
