Hello, I think we've got too many pages on Special:WantedPages, many of which are associated with variables used in translation units. So, each of these pages would need to have the following content:

<includeonly>{{BASEPAGENAME}}</includeonly><noinclude>{{Translation variable notice}}</noinclude>

However, this will be only for templates. On content pages, it should be:

{{Translation variable notice}}

The template "Translation variable notice" is in my sandbox: User:Keyacom/sandbox/Translation variable notice. Is it good?

@Keyacom: Sounds like a good plan to me. It makes easier to distinguish between really wanted pages amd translation variables. However just a opinion of just one admin might not be enough, as this change could be controversial. And the current list of wanted pages is very big to do this by hand. A bot can easily handle it. But before that, I think we need consensus. Could you start a thread at Project:Current issues since that page is watched by many admins as well as experienced users? This will help us to gain more opinions and thoughts on the matter. Thanks.
