Since implementing the Google Login extension (which replaced our LDAP extensions) we continuously need to login again. Sessions timeout in a few minutes. In documentation of the Google Login extension I can not find any setting regaring session expiration times.
Anybody recognizing this behaviour, and knows a fix/resolution to keep sessions valid for longer then a few minutes?
Anyone find a way to update this? It'd be great if we could set the default session length to 30 days if possible
If you do not disabled any other login method, you should be able to tick the "Keep me logged in" checkbox, which keeps you logged in for a longer time. If, however, you've disabled all other login possibilities, the login form is skipped and you can, as of now, not get the login session to keep longer :( There's a task for that : https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T204794
This, btw., is not unique to GoogleLogin. The extension does not change how a login works in MediaWiki :)
