Hi, my name is Social Studies Rules. I’m trying to login into my Wikimedia Commons Account and after I try logging in it says “Central login, You are centrally logged in. Reload the page to apply your user settings.” This is the first time it happened to me and I don’t know what to do, so I ask if, you please help me get rid of it.

Did you try reloading the page?

Sorry, I pressed reload, nothing happened it just said the entire message again.

What happens when you reload the page? If you are logged in corrently then, this message is not a problem.

When I reload, it reads the entire message again, when I go to the login page it just sends me back to the previous page that I was on. When I try to login it just nonstop keeps reloading without me doing anything and then when I try to stop, I get an error message.

Logging out from all Wikimedia projects should help. If not, clear all cookies with "wiki" in title.

So I logged out of everything, it didn’t work, can you please tell me how to delete cookies?

Try google "how do I delete cookies" and find instructions for your browser.

I cleared out all my cookies, now what do I do

"Central login" means that you can use the same account on all Wikimedia projects. So when you log in (on Wikipedia) and visit Wikimedia Commons, you'll be automatically be logged there.

You have reported that you're having troubles logging in on Commons. Is it true? If so, I recommended logging out completely and deleting cookies. If not, please provide more information.

Can you please explain where do I find to delete these cookies. Can you please send a link of where I should go and then I’ll follow it.

So, I did what you asked I went and deleted cookies and caches, I tried logging in and it didn’t work, now what do I do?

Describe please step by step (all clicks and inputs) how I could reproduce the problem.

Ok,

1.) “On your iPhone or iPad, open the Chrome app Chrome. At the top right, tap More More. Tap History and then Clear browsing data. Make sure there’s a check mark next to "Cookies, site data" and "Cached images and files." Tap Clear browsing data” I did that.

2.) Went to Wikipedia, logged in successfully, went to Wikimedia Commons got logged, it says “Central login, You are centrally logged in. Reload the page to apply your user settings”, when I’m logged out of my Wikipedia account and try to log into Wikimedia commons, it says Central user, log in No active login attempt is in progress for your session.

3.) If I go to , I create a diagram, press make my diagram, press Create link for direct upload to Wikimedia Commons. It leads me to the login in page, I try to login, and there’s an error message.

The information that you are not on a computer is new to me. Then I wouldn't waste your time with clearing cookies etc. Unfortunately, I don't own any Apple device...
