Making multiple changes within one page of the German wiktionary I cannot see all of them looking at the review of the changes, 'cause the screen is not high enough. There is no bar which enables scrolling down. Greetings Peter

You can try to make a visual editing at any sufficiently long entry in the German wiktionary (e. g. wikt:de:haben) adding "asdf" to a number of lines, then look at the review of changes and you will see only the first changes, the lower part missing. Greetings Peter

Other people are probably still confused, so I appreciate you taking the time to report this. I tried this in Safari 11, and there was no scroll bar. In Firefox 56, the scroll bar is shown for (maybe) two seconds, and then disappears. What browser/operating system were you using?
I use Safari 11, too. I must admit that the scroll wheel of my mouse is no good option 'cause it does not work well due to hardware problems after using it for a long time. Thanks for your answer.
I'm not in 11 yet but even the previous version doesn't show the scroll bar all the time (not just in the diff environment), only when you try to actually scroll it will briefly show up. So... maybe that's actually desired behaviour in that browser?
That depends on the adjustments you have set. I have chosen "permanent" and I can see the bar for instance now quite stable at the right edge of the browser window reading this discussion.
I use a two-finger swipe on my laptop's trackpad. (I never made friends with a scroll wheel.)
IMO a big problem with not seeing the scroll bar for even one second is that it's not obvious that you're meant to be able to scroll at all. Once you know that you should be able to scroll, you might try it, but before then, you might not guess that the scroll bar is hidden there.
It's more or less only me trying to use the Visual Editor in the German Wiktionary, so the problem is no problem. Thanks for your discussion.
