Topic on Talk:Wikimedia Developer Summit/2018

My most recent memory of blind reviews happening in the Wikimedia technical space was at Wikimania 2016 when the Wikidata project manager was told that it seemed like they didn't know enough about Wikidata, or the person in charge of Tool Labs being told it wasn't clear they were familiar with external tools to the project.

What kind of steps will be taken to ensure this kind of scenario doesn't happen?

I imagine that the PC members who made such remarks would not be invited to serve in subsequent years. :-)
