I do not find how to make this extension work with MW1.27. The fix proposed here (try to use $wgMainCacheType = CACHE_DB or use a different SimpleSAMLphp store type) does not work for me. I use SImpleSamlPHP version 1.14.12, the authentication works when testing but in combination with the extension I always get the "User cannot be authenticated." message.
Could someone help ?
What version of Extension:PluggableAuth and Extension:SimpleSAMLphp are you using? Have you turned on debug logging as described at Manual:How_to_debug? If so, are there any errors in the debug log file?
I use the version 4.0 of both extensions: PluggableAuth4.0 (72a9e7d) and SimpleSAMLphp4.0 (b7b74b7). Got no errors in the debug file, but a lot of informations I am not able to understand. I can send it to you if you wish.

Sure, feel free to send me the debug log to cicalese@mitre.org. Please capture only the login interaction: delete the log file, click the login link from the main page of your wiki, wait for the Special:UserLogin page to render, and send me the file without any other interactions. Also, what OS/database/PHP versions are you running with?
