I'm trying to debug which image is chosen for the hovercard. An example of a bad case is for w:AK-74, where the image of the weapon from the infobox is skipped over, and the first image from the main text is selected. Usually Hovercard pulls the infobox image, which is usually more appropriate. What mechanisms are available to control this? Why isn't it pulling the infobox image in this case, as it does for, e.g., w:AK-47? ~~~~

(Hovercards don't work for me cross-wiki, but you can find an intra-enwiki link for AK-74 in the lead of w:Bakelite and for AK-47 within the AK-74 page.)

The image picking is done using Extension:PageImages. Which picked the infobox image for this revision of w:en:CJOT-FM but not this revision of w:en:CHBM-FM. There's a bit more of discussion here.
