Could someone please add a description of what the Citoid extension actually does? Right now it just says the extension "aims to provide use of the citoid service to VisualEditor". What does that mean? Does it just provide an API? Does it provide UI?

@KaldariI'm working on a user-friendly tutorial/help page on Citoid at Polish Wikipedia. It's in Polish, but you could try using some automatic translation - or simply copy the structure and graphics. I know it's not much, but it's a starting point at least. Check w:pl:Wikipedysta:Halibutt/Citoid.
