Interest in or objection to option disabling use of PediaPress

While I think a vast majority of wikis using the Collections extension want PediaPress integration, it has been pointed out that its integration presents a legal problem for some wikis that would like to utilize the other features of the Collections extension.

I'm curious if there are any objections to or interest in adding a setting allowing a sysadmin to disable PediaPress integration. Also like to know if the developers maintaining this extensions have any objections to this addition or interest in adding it - otherwise I'd be willing to volunteer to help add it (assuming there are no objections).

This is very important.

Please make a version of this extension that can seamlessly turn off the Pedia Press integration.

I have proposed a workaround which consists in commenting out the code which prints "Print with PediaPress" in Special:Book modifying Collection.template.php see the bug above.

This is now fixed starting with Collection extension version 1.6.

I just tried version 1.6 (level d137c89) and while I can turn off the Print On Demand section, I lose the Title Page.

That last reply (about level d137c89) is from me. I don't really want that to be anonymous.

I don't think this is related to this change. I don't know anything about the title page generation to check this out. Maybe you should open a new bug for this in bugzilla (https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org) or open a new discussion thread.

Maybe this got changed in the rendering software (mw-render) and not in the actual extension.
