In the following link HostGator mention they have MediaWiki solution, so it should be added to the table:

never mind I was able to do it (talkcontribs)

A column with private/public/semi private status is missing.

The code seems bugged, when I sort the column, it shows weird things, like doubled columns.

There is "Mysite Users (マイサイト・ユーザーズ)" in Mediawiki hosting service in Japan. Will you add it?

Kghbln (talkcontribs)

Sure, post the respective data here and I will add it for you. Do not forget to provide a like to the dedicated page on MediaWiki explaining your service.

Problem: If you resort the table, the "headers" in the middle of the table are also effected...

the german hosting provider linevast ( does offer an automatic install of mediawiki (also with automatic upgrades, backups and restore option).

The webspace is not for free, but the 1-click-setup is free included. It is not a free hosting.

Regards! (talkcontribs)

It would be nice to have links to wikis hosted

2 (talkcontribs)

It would be nice to have 1-4 examples of publicly available wikis hosted by each service

Ciencia Al Poder (talkcontribs)

Maybe a link to the WikiApiary page for that hosting would suffice.

Can I request to add CiviHosting to this page. I believe the code would be:

| [ CiviHosting]
| USA, Europe
| no
| paid
| Yes
| SSH access
| 24/7 Support
| Yes
| Shared and VPS accounts, free installation and migration, 24/7 support

We are a host actively involved in supporting FOSS, with contributions to several including Drupal, CiviCRM and most lately Nextcloud:

Thank you.

I signed up for the hosting service MyWikis several weeks ago and have not had any communication with them. I recently created a help ticket on their website, but did not get any communication from them. I know that WikiMedia does not have any involvement in these commercial activities, but would appreciate it if someone know something they would let the community know. If the site no longer is accepting hosting commitments, I would consider removing them from the active list on this page.

MyWikis hosting service is in business. Since my post, I have been able to utilize their services with no issues. I think that the lack of communication was due to the holiday season (which they warned about in social media).

Do we know of any hosts that take privacy of their users (and readers) seriously and pro-actively take measures to protect it? If so it might be a nice quality to add to the table. Things like having a warrant canary would be things to look for.
