Readers/Structured Data/Release Timeline

This page attempts to track notable changes and releases by the Structured Data team. We began tracking this in January 2022 and most older data is missing. Feel free to jump in and add anything missing!

🎂 is used to mark releases the team feels are worth celebrating and usually mark the end of a long line of work.

Dates should reflect a date the change went into production and generally correspond with that week's deployment train.

Implemented accessibility improvements for Search Preview (phab:T327648).

Fixed bug where on mobile Search Preview, the last card should not hug the edge of the screen (phab:T328138).

Fixed bug where results without body broke the SearchVue extension (phab:T327873).
Fixed bug on Special:Search - Console displays Uncaught TypeError: this.handleEventTimeout is not a function (phab:T327731).
Added ability to access and interact with the Search Preview with the keyboard only (phab:T326641).
Fixed bug where desktop preview hover area did not include the arrow area (phab:T326580).

Fixed bug where some pages' search index docs indicate they have an image suggestion when they do not (phab:T314164).
Prevented non-free images from being displayed as thumbnails on the wikipedias (phab:T320661).

🎂 Started sending image suggestions notifications to experienced users in 4 more wikis (FI, HU, CA, NO) (phab:T300064).
The threshold for experienced users was decreased from 500 to 300 edits for image suggestions notifications on PT wikipedia (phab:T321715).
Fixed issue with search result margin on mobile view (phab:T321563).
Fixed bug on mobile search where non-media files thumbnails were displayed incorrectly (phab:T321362).
Fixed bug in Special:Search: "429 Too Many Requests" when number of returned search results set to more than 50 (phab:T321006).
Added list of categories to MachineVision (phab:T320526).

Fixed bug with small images and non-image thumbnails in Special:Search (phab:T319230).

Outstanding updates to styling of messages that show up above search results (phab:T315323).
Reduce the max width for the basic namespace filter on Special:Search (phab:T319392).
Fixed bug where thumbnails on SpecialSearch may fail to load (phab:T320406).
Thumbnails are shown on Special:Search only on Wikipedias (phab:T320510).

Fixed bug on MediaSearch on Commons on mobile where image in QuickView scrolls up (phab:T314831).

Fixed bug where there was a height flicker when switching tabs (phab:T314732).

Fixed bug where MachineVision\Repository::getUnreviewedImageCountForUser had a suboptimal query loading more than 10,000 rows (phab:T302184).
Updated the "results from other language wiki" section to match the new layout and styling (phab:T309745).
