The following discussion has been transferred from Meta-Wiki.
Any user names refer to users of that site, who are not necessarily users of MediaWiki.org (even if they share the same username).

So, I was looking for exactly this extension! But then it occurred to me... Does Technorati want to index wikis? Don't they only want blogs? - Liz, lizzard@bookmaniac.net

Tags Question[edit]

"and insert <tag></tags> into your wiki.."

Insert this were? In every page? In one file? Please elaborate

Thanks!

Extending category[edit]

Hi,

Thanks for your extension, but I thought we could do it by just hacking the categories, so that the user doesn't have to write first the categories and then the technorati tags. This is what I'm trying to do at User:Fxparlant/Technorati

I don't see how this can work[edit]

I'm in the process of registering my wiki at technorati. I already have a wordpress blog registered there, so I know it works. They take you through a 4-step process, the second of which is a "claim method". In it you get a unique hex claim code through the "Post Claim" or Embedded Claim methods.

How would this extension allow for this hex code? I don't see a way to customize it in the PHP code. Thanks Kdewalt 00:23, 27 February 2007 (UTC)Reply
