The WikimediaEditorTasks extension supports the Suggested Edits project of the Wikimedia Apps team.

WikimediaEditorTasks provides the following:

Special-purpose edit counters[edit]

  • Provides an interface for defining specialized counters that tally edits with a given set of characteristics;
  • Exposes an Action API module (action=query&meta=wikimediaeditortaskscounts) providing access to those counts

Microcontribution suggestions[edit]

  • Provides a script for querying the MediaWiki DB to generate data for a special-purpose table storing the Wikipedia article languages and description languages associated with Wikidata entities
  • Exposes an Action API module (action=query&list=wikimediaeditortaskssuggestions) to serve description editing suggestions for the following two scenarios:
    • A random entity in Wikidata with a Wikipedia article but not a description in the requested language
    • A random entity in Wikidata with a description in language A but not language B (where Wikipedia articles corresponding to the entity exist in both languages)
