I'm already a sysop on the English Wikipedia, and have been a major contributor at the Dutch Wikipedia, but I'm inactive there right now. However, I'm certainly very much able to help out here now with sysop status. --JoanneB 11:02, 9 June 2008 (UTC)

We already have 42 sysops, which is usually more than enough to handle whatever may pop up. Please note that fulfilling whatever suggestions does not automatically give you the right for +sysop. Besides, imo it's quite easy for anyone to get +sysop on en.wiki if they edit there enough. If you edit here for a while, I may change my mind at a later date, but at this time I'm going to say no. --Skizzerz 17:28, 10 June 2008 (UTC)

Per above. I'd like to see some edits from a user before I'd give them sysop status or then I need to know the user personally. As I don't know you, I'd need to see some edits before I can grant you +sysop. --Sayuri 17:31, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
