Gallery tag and xml[edit]
Hi, I'm trying to import an xml file. I'm trying both importDump.php and Special:ImportPages (web). The problem is that the import script for an unknown reason won't recognize the gallery tag <gallery> I'm using to invoce images. Do you have any idea why is this happening? - I don't know. I just exported a file from a subpage of this page and then imported it into my personal wiki and it worked just fine. Personal wiki is version 1.11 however. Do you have sample file that won't import? Do you have any error messages? Any more information to go on? --Vjg 21:12, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
I "escaped" the tag symbols and managed to perform the import.
Replace < with < and > with >
The problem is that the text is being escaped right now. You can see the code by clicking the edit tab right now!

- Fixed that replacement issue for you. I'm still surprised your original import didn't work, but without something specific to use for testing, it's hard to say. --Vjg 18:02, 9 September 2009 (UTC)
