Add topicUniwiki Toolbar?[edit]
Is it like the Google toolbar? e.g. http://toolbar.google.com/T6/intl/en-GB/index.html 195.194.74.13 13:18, 22 June 2009 (UTC)
Nothing like the google toolbar[edit]
The uniwiki toolbar replaces the icons at the top of the editing panel on mediawiki wiki pages with an easier to use reduced set. This selection arose from usability testing of mediawiki in tanzania with youth and was designed to make mediawiki easier to use for that audience.
Uniwiki Authors broken in 1.14 and 1.15[edit]
Hi!
Thank you for nice extensions! I'm using some of them in a wiki for children. Unfortunately the Authors extension is broken since MW 1.14. the CreditLink() function called in this extension was renamed and changed. May I ask you to have a look at it? Thank you very much.

Problems with Layout extension and existing templates...[edit]
I'm trying to use the Layout extension (awesome by the way) but I'm having problems getting it to work with existing templates. I want the users to be presented with this:
{{Infobox Application |name = |AKA = |Category = |first contact = |Incident Group = |SR Group = |Escalation Group = |Owner = |Install = |Approver = |Brief Description = |Requirements = |Common Issues = |Version Number = |Author = |Version Date = |Date of next Review = }}
But when it is saved to the layout page as this, it shows up like this when creating a page:
{{Infobox Application|name =|AKA =|Category =|first contact =|Incident Group =|SR Group =|Escalation Group =|Owner =|Install =|Approver =|Brief Description =|Requirements =|Common Issues =|Version Number =|Author =|Version Date =|Date of next Review =}}
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong here or how to fix this? Have tried double free lines, br etc but no joy so far!
Uniwiki Authors for 1.16[edit]
I installed all uniwiki extensions, they are all working good so far, except for "Authors"
When the extension is active, I get a white page and a "server error" message.
Do I need to remove NS_MAIN?
I want all namespaces to have this extention.
Enhanced Arabic translation[edit]
Hello,
below is an Arabic translation for Uniwiki:Authors which has better phrasing: /** Arabic (العربية) * @author OsamaK * @author أحمد */ $messages['ar'] = array( 'authors-desc' => 'تلحق بالصفحة قائمة المساهمين فيها', 'authors_authors' => 'المؤلفون', 'authors_anonymous' => 'مجهولون', );
Thank you and regards,

Your account will be renamed[edit]
Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Uniwiki. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Uniwiki~mediawikiwiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
