Hi, unfortunately I had to delete this image because although it was marked as CC, it contained two copyrighted posters. Could you make a free example? Thanks, and sorry for inconvenience. Max Semenik 20:31, 7 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Question on templates in Linked Wiki 2.00 alpha[edit]

Hi Karima, Thank you for developing this excellent extension: c'est génial! That said, I am having difficulty getting templates to display properly. For example, on a query that returns 3 columns, I have a template that displays them simply as {{{1}}}, {{{2}}}, {{{3}}}. But the output is ",," in the first column while the other two columns are blank. Here is my query (which displays fine without the "templates" argument:

{{#sparql: PREFIX rdfs: <http://www.w3.org/2000/01/rdf-schema#> PREFIX prop: <http://archwiki.cogeco.com/id/Property-3A> SELECT ?df, ?desc, ?darwin WHERE {?x rdfs:label ?df; prop:Description ?desc . {?x prop:Flows_from ?y} UNION {?x prop:Flows_to ?y}. ?y prop:Darwin_scope ?darwin . FILTER (?darwin != "No") } LIMIT 500 | endpoint = http://10.1.7.51:8000/sparql/ | headers=Integration,Description,Scope | templates=Darwin integration query row}}

Can you help?

Thanks! douglas beeson montreal

Thanks :)
For your problem, you can try in your template :
{{{df}}}, {{{desc}}}, {{{darwin}}} (same name of variables in sparql)

That was it, exactly, thanks! And here is a new discussion topic...

Alternative Ways to Display Query Results[edit]

I would love to find a way to display Graphviz graphs of SPARQL results. This may be possible by allowing Linked Wiki to output the complete results of a query into a single template call (rather than one call per table row line, as he current implementation does). Ideally the single template call would also place the results into some kind of array available to the template.

Can you give me your query SPARQL (http://.../sparql...) and the graph to do ? (or a cool example to do) The next week, I have to do a powerpoint about LinkedWiki. I will try to insert this example in my presentation and you will have a first example with Graphviz (or http://bl.ocks.org/mbostock ) and LinkedWiki.
