Also, check out Category:Spam management extensions for ways on combating spam. I personally recommend installing ConfirmEdit and AbuseFilter at a minimum (ConfirmEdit adds a CAPTCHA and AbuseFilter allows you to define rules to single out specific types of spam you are getting hit with and preventing it). If you have more questions, a better place to put them is either on the support desk or the mwusers forum, as user pages tend to not get a high level of visibility. --Skizzerz 09:11, 29 June 2012 (UTC)
Hey Skizz, thanks for the advice. The wiki already has ConfirmEdit, but I can't get any useful Captcha-like tools working :/ Still working on it, though. I'll look into AbuseFilter as well. --Frizzil (talk) 21:25, 17 July 2012 (UTC)
