If really well done —so that, say, anyone who can use basic templates can build seriously interactive wizards— these tools could drastically transform the whole nature of wikis. So that for pretty much any technically challenging task, there could be a wizard that would lead users through it, preserving the technical know-how of those who fashioned the wizard. Wizards for things that require a steep learning curve, for things that are tricky to do right, for things that are rarely done, for things that are tedious and common. Wizards for newcomers, for experienced users, for reviewers, for admins. Pretty much any imaginable wiki could benefit; wizards could become so ubiquitous one couldn't imagine wikis without them. --Pi zero (talk) 15:00, 8 March 2012 (UTC)Reply
