[edit]I know it was 18 months ago, but in case you are still looking for an answer, I thought I would drop you a note. I was getting the same errors as you, and I don't think it's due to non-English characters in the name. I have added some Python3 + requests sample code to API_talk:Upload#Python_with_requests that I hope will work for you. Storkk (talk) 14:04, 8 December 2016 (UTC)
