What elements must have a template slide? An attempt for a list:

Opening slide

• Required
  • Title
  • MediaWiki logo: media:MediaWiki logo reworked 2.svg
• Optional
  • A graphic
    • Or fullscreen image? If so perhaps with some % of transparency or filter?
  • Name of speaker
  • Name of event
  • Date
  • Place

Regular slide, no text block

• Content
  • Title
  • Subtitle?
  • A graphic
    • Can also be a big text string, but then perhaps no title? (Later?)
    • Alternative for fullscreen image. If so perhaps with some % of transparency or filter? (Later?)
  • Text box that can be shown / hidden without overlapping other texts.
  • Small MediaWiki logo in a corner?
    • Could serve as link to opening slide.
  • No footer, right?
