Maduranga Siriwardena[edit]

I am a 3rd year Undergraduate at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. Currently I'm in my internship at WSO2. As a software engineering student I have worked with my software projects in many different fields. In particular I am really interested in the fields like artificial intelligence and computer security. Other than software engineering I am interested in other engineering stuff specially robotics which I have participated in many competitions and have won.

Projects that I have Worked[edit]

Moodle Android Client[edit]

This is my 3rd year project at University of Moratuwa. Its basic need is to create a android client for university moodle without any database access or API support. Mainly is create a user-friendly user interface along with some other functionality.

Multi Player Tank Game[edit]

This was our project for the programming challenge module and the task was to implement a game client (Tank) who can connect to the game server and compete with other clients.We used java and slick2d gaming library for the project implementation. At the end of the day competing with 50 groups we could achieve the second runners up.

Ubuntu Juju Charm for WSO2 Identity Server[edit]

This project was to create Ubuntu juju charm for WSO2 Identity server. Ubuntu charm is a easy way to deploy a software into the cloud with minimum configuration.

WSO2 Balana OpenAz[edit]

OpenAz is a standard API for XACML PDPs. WSO2 Balana is a implimentation of XACML 3.0 implementation. This project was to create a adopter to plug WSO2 balana into OpenAz.

CV Management System[edit]

An online CV management system for CEYNOX (Private) Limited was made to enter, view and filter the CVs of the job applicants of the company. 

Sri Lankan Robotics Challenge 2012[edit]

We as a 5 member group made pair of robots, an autonomous 1 and a one that can be controlled using a wired remote controller. We were able to become 2nd Runners Up of the Competition.

Sri Lankan Robotics Challenge 2013[edit]

We as a 5 member group made pair of robots, an autonomous 1 and a one that can be controlled using a wired remote controller. We were able to become 2nd Runners Up of the Competition.

Inrernational Robotics Challenge 2013 - IIT Bombay[edit]

IRC is an international Robotics Competition organized by IIT- Bombay. Teams from 7 countries including India, Sri lanka, Bangladesh, Indonesia, France, Nepal, France and Egypt participated this event. We as a 5 member group made pair of robots, an autonomous 1 and a one that can be controlled using a wired remote controller. We were able to become 2nd Runners Up of the Competition.

International Robotics Challenge 2014- IIT Bombay[edit]

We as a 5 member group made pair of robots, an autonomous robot and a robot that can be controlled using a wireless remote controller. 19 teams from countries including France, South Africa and Russia participated and we were able to win the 4th place of competition.
