Parsoid is the engine behind one of the most important concepts in MediaWiki, Wikitext. Wikitext can be seem as "the language that enables free knowledge" with multiple capabilities that allow editors to transform content and serve it to the Wikimedia audiences. Currently, Parsoid is a library which allows for converting back and forth between wikitext and HTML. The goal with this document is to illustrate what's behind Parsoid domain in terms of product strategy and current state
