About me

Prior to joining the Wikimedia Foundation, Jazmin was a Principal at a privately held consultancy that specialized in marketing and advertising solutions, as well as digital and business transformation. During her time as a Principal consultant she had a focus in education nonprofit agile adoption. Jazmin also formerly served as a Senior Consultant at a large consulting firm where she provided software architecture alignment subject matter expertise for The US Department of Veteran Affairs Information Technology projects. She obtained experience in Digital Marketing while establishing marketing service product offerings for Virginia’s largest commercial sheet-fed printer.

Jazmin serves as a probono Curator of Washington DC Hub I for the Global Shapers Community. She is the immediate past Chair of a minority youth mentorship program called Leaders of Tomorrow, an initiative of the National Black MBA Association. She also established the Leaders of Tomorrow Alumni network and served on the Washington DC Chapter Board.

Jazmin provides probono board development and growth strategies for education non-profits. She speaks at schools and conferences about the power of inclusion and equitably equipping young adults to become innovative disrupters in their classrooms, communities, and professional careers.

Jazmin is passionate about innovative thinking, improving processes, education reform, effective collaboration, and overcoming challenges. In her spare time, Jazmin loves to travel, learn new things, and spend time with family, friends and her cat Milo.
