I had some ideas about a logo for the MediaWiki Users and Developers Conference #MWCon. Any illustrations below are meant to convey the concept, NOT serve as actual mockups. Design work would need to be done on these themes.

"Lightbulb" Hands

Hands A

One theme is to combine the 'lightbulb' (representing the concept of idea) with hands. Something like this: hands holding a lightbulb - except the lightbulb would be the MediaWiki stylized icon

"Lightbulb" Wrench

Something like this https://www.vecteezy.com/vector-art/4989479-upside-down-wrench-with-electrical-bulb with the MediaWiki logo instead of a lightbulb. The wrenches in this stylized yin/yang style.

Coin of the Realm

Another theme is to combine a hand on top, dropping 'coins' to a hand receiving. The 'coins' would be the MediaWiki stylized icon.
