Since this is the MediaWiki wiki, I will talk about my history with MediaWiki wikis.

I first discovered Wikipedia in about 2005 or 6 (I don't remember, my memories of these years are cloudy). In 2007, I used it a lot, at home and school, and I also found out about Festipedia (back then called the FestWiki, and running its Perl-based MediaWiki clone also called FestWiki). In late 2007, I found out about the UESP wiki.

In 2008, my MediaWiki experience got well underway. I created an account on UESP and Wikipedia, and on many more wikis (including Festipedia and the Homestar Runner wiki). I also tried starting up my own wiki, the V.F.D. Wiki. I also ran a few wikis on an XAMPP server on my home PC (but the IP was 127.0.0.1).

In 2010, I lost interest in the whole wiki thing, and it remained that way until late 2012.

So, here I am, now in 2013, writing this, and owning my wiki, the TISM Wiki... FokkerTISM (talk) 13:29, 16 January 2013 (UTC)
