Attended Q2 quarterly planning meeting for Wikidata.
Investigated and fixed phab:T129450, and took care of getting this deployed.
Preparing Wikidata talks for NYC meetup, WikiArabia and tech workshop in Ramallah.

Not really related to Wikidata, but I'm attending a meetup about technology in NYC.

Updated PropertySuggester and Wikibase Quality extensions for DataModel 6.0 phab:T130051
Got code coverage working for myself on hhvm. (think this needs https://github.com/sebastianbergmann/environment, some configuration in my php.ini file and to temporarily disable xhprof) When updating the PropertySuggester and Quality extensions, it would be really helpful if these had closer to 100% code coverage.

Attending a panel discussion on topic of innovation in libraries, with Ben Vershbow (from NYPL labs) and others.

Wikidata was mentioned :) It's being used in the Bibliographic Identifiers for Library Location Information (Billi) project. (e.g. http://billi.nypl.org/classmark/nd1700-2495/about)

Working on search of labels and descriptions, using CirrusSearch / ElasticSearch.
- Updating to use DataModel 6.0 (and work better with new entity types)
Talked about Wikidata at Wikimedia NYC meetup.
- users are concerned about how difficult it is now to add authority control data when creating a new Wikipedia article, (e.g. about an artist) since authority control is now handled in Wikidata.

Looking into test failures for the build. [1] (having some trouble to get LuaSandbox working on hhvm, though this works on Vagrant but tests don't fail there. It's somewhat obvious anyway what the problem is)

Wikimedia DC is co-organizing 2 edit-a-thons on Saturday and one on Sunday. (I can't attend them all, but maybe the ones on Saturday)

Attended editathon at the Smithsonian. Users are asking about enabling arbitrary access on Commons and the status of structured data support. They need arbitrary access, even just for non-language specific things like accessing authority control data for creator templates.
Attended accessibility edit-a-thon at the DC Public Library (Wikipedia:Meetup/DC/DCPL March 2016). Obviously, accessibility is something that could use much improvement on Wikidata, and for editing Wikidata content used on Wikipedia.

Got LuaSandbox working on hhvm
Fixing test failures:
- adapt MediaInfoView to changes in EntityView - https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/c/278606/ phab:T130511
- Fix Scribunto tests - https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/c/278677/ (causes above patch to fail on jenkins)

Preparing for travel (want to swap hard drive, with fresh install of stuff w/o things like production ssh keys)

WikiArabia (presented about Wikidata)
- people are interested in Wikidata supporting more calendars (e.g. Islamic calendars), though understand the complexity and challenges of dates and calendars in Wikidata.
