Replace counter-reset by counter-set in the CSS!

The current version of this snippet does not seem to be compliant with the current CSS standard and it does indeed fail to reset counters on e.g. Firefox 116. According to the discussion on StackOverflow the respective CSS-property has changed to the counter-intuitive counter-set statement.

The down-side is that may not work on Safari at least up to version 17.

This is a wiki that anyone can edit. Why don't you fix it yourself?

Sm8ps (talkcontribs)

Because I do not want to interfere with Krinkle's original work as long as there is no fix/solution that works for all browsers. Furthermore I am by no means a specialist in JS/CSS. Therefore I believe a broader discussion of the issue than my singular point of view is necessary. What is yours on the matter?

Thanks for reaching out, @Krinkle! The counters are not reset but keep on, cf. screenshot (link to my private cloud).
